You might have done Yoga, but you havenโ€™t done Hot Pod Yoga.

Imagine a warm, darkened, calmly lit space with soothing tranquil music neutralizing your every thought and yoga poses to stretch out your tired muscles.

Iโ€™ve tried Yoga a few times, and Iโ€™ve very much enjoyed it. But this experience was something else. There was something about the warmth, and light, and just the general vibe that made the whole experience a lot more relaxing.

Our Yoga teacher was lovely, she took us through the basic poses of a style of yoga known as 'Vinyasa', even beginners would have felt comfortable. And if you werenโ€™t comfortable, you could just slow down or we were offered alternative easier ways to do a similar pose. Vinyasa can be translated as โ€˜arranging something in a special wayโ€™, and that it was. Our bodies were โ€˜arrangedโ€™ as we glided through the routines. In the huge inflatable pod, we had a 45-minute class in 37-degree heat working through continuous movements. Now if that doesnโ€™t relax your muscles and ease you into those difficult yoga poses, I donโ€™t know what will.

The event was sponsored by The Big Bottle Co, allowing you to control your daily intake of water. The bottle is 2.2L and BPA free. So Iโ€™m a big fan of BPA free bottles because I read once that the plastic in other bottles could be quite bad for you, so this was a win in itself. I always carry a water bottle with me, but I often struggle to drink enough water per day, and Iโ€™m very aware of that. With this bottle, although you canโ€™t pop it in your bag, you can pop it on your desk, get yourself a glass and just keep pouring and keep sipping as you go about your day. Since the event I have done this every day, some days when Iโ€™m out and about Iโ€™ll struggle to drink it all, and Iโ€™m still yet to have a day where I finish it all, but I always get very close, and Iโ€™ll get there! But yes, itโ€™s come with me almost everywhere so far.

It was also very handy to have it to sip on in our class. Whenever I exercise, like anybody, I always drink a tonne of water, so this was really helpful.

What a great invite to receive, Hot Pod Yoga along with my trusty new friend The Big Bottle. Hot Pod even gave us a free monthโ€™s membership which I am so excited to use! Afterwards we popped into a restaurant called โ€˜Farmacyโ€™ which is any vegan persons dream! I would definitely recommend.
